Sustainability has historically not been easy to integrate as a small business, I had reached to Etsy many times to see if they could help with sustainable sourcing, shipping, or offsets and no luck. I was thrilled to find ClimeCo and be able to find sustainable solutions that are in my budget and help me easily demonstrate my commitment to the planet with my customers.
My strategy is grounded in ESG, meaning environment and social are also important. In addition to being EcoCommitted:
- I source all my materials from diverse vendors e.g., cardstock, plastic packaging, ink, shipping supplies
- All paper products are FSC certified
- We source renewable energy (where my home office is)
- I use thermal printers which use less energy and supplies than traditional printers
