What is ClimeCo 4Nature?

The ClimeCo 4Nature Program, a collaboration between ClimeCo and UPROAR, offers qualified companies an opportunity to invest in a handful of carefully selected projects designed to preserve and restore uniquely important habitats, biodiversity and local communities.

The program includes projects with varied impacts on nature, local communities, and financial models—customizable to maximize buyers’ positive impact and enhance their decarbonization strategies. In return for funding this critical work, corporate sponsors receive a set of benefits including all carbon credits from the project, all future green attributes, and project site tours with lead scientists.

Selecting Projects

Working closely with scientists, communities, NGOs, and local governments around the world, we screen a range of potential projects.

We prioritize those which we believe enable both preservation and/or restoration of unique habitats and biodiversity while also benefiting local communities and which can also provide a range of environmental commodities and benefits to corporate sponsors.

We then identify the project development and operations work required over the life of each project, the resources needed to implement, and the economics to ensure that projects not only deliver transformative environmental, economic and social benefits, but also are tailorable to buyers’ unique priorities and criteria.

The 4Nature Model

Rather than selling incremental carbon offsets over time, 4Nature will secure sufficient resource commitments upfront to undertake long-term preservation and restoration work in a coordinated way which also enables us to deliver environmental & economic benefits (including carbon offsets) much faster.

4Nature is designed to give companies an opportunity to play an instrumental leadership role in saving some of the planet’s most unique and important locations.

Sponsorships

Each 4Nature restoration and conservation project will produce quantifiable, high-quality nature-based carbon removals as well as other pivotal ecosystem and community co-benefits. Located in unique biodiversity hotspots around the world, these projects protect native, vulnerable, and endangered species, restore deforested areas, and help improve the lives of indigenous peoples and local communities.

Program sponsors receive a range of measured brand benefits that help meet ESG targets.

4Nature Project Sponsors Could Receive:

  • All carbon credits from the project
  • All future green attributes
  • Right of first refusal for future project expansion
  • All publicity and promotional rights
  • Project naming rights
  • Project site tours with project lead scientists
  • Access to scientists for presentations to sponsor’s stakeholders
  • Any additional project-specific benefits
